Back in July I published a post about what I’d been up to in the first six months of the year. Now here’s a full round up of my travels in 2018; the year was my busiest travel year to date, and I’m so grateful for the amount of exploring I was able to do.
My year technically started in Berlin as this is where we saw out 2017 and bought in 2018, catch up on part one and part two of this trip if you haven’t already
Next up was an incredible weekend in Edinburgh, taking in all of it’s wonderful sights
Bristol took up the third weekend in January and it was so good to be back there despite the relentless rain
The final weekend in January had us staying at the Hotel Indigo Cardiff whilst visiting friends
We spent a glorious long weekend in Guernsey seeing family, and as per usual it was ever so relaxing
The final weekend in February was a staycation in London, seeing Cirque du Soliel and afternoon tea-ing at The Ritz
This month was a non-travel month and instead I used the time to see friends locally and spend time with family
The 1st April came around pretty quickly and was the start of a week in San Francisco
The latter May Bank Holiday saw another staycation, this time in the form of camping
Early June called for a birthday trip sunny Brighton
At the end of June I visited Hong Kong, the second big trip of 2018
July consisted of a weekend in Wales then a bunch of family and friend events so mostly a month at home.
The month began with a wedding in Gdansk, Poland
Followed swiftly by a hen do in Cannes, France which was undocumented!
A free weekend led to a sponteanous trip to the De Wokefield Estate
CLB and I spent a lovely long weekend in Devon for our first wedding anniversary
Barcelona then played host to a hen party
Another non-travel month for me, but that’s fine by me as I was bridesmaid at a wedding then a fun filled December was to be had…
Paris hosted my 31st birthday
Christmas and New Year were spent in Brazil – write-ups coming soon!
Let me know what you got up to in 2018 in the comments section.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, may 2019 be full of travel and adventures!
