So some of you will be aware I have a Bucket List, and as mentioned in that I actually also have a Hotel Wish List which I’m also trying to work my way through. I thought I’d share with you the places I’ve longed to stay for a while now and of course those already ticked off 🙂

Atlantis The Palm

The Pig Hotel
Babington House
Chewton Glen
Luton Hoo  (Read about my stay here)
The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel
Pennyhill Park
Coworth Park
Mondrian at Sea Containers (Read about my stay here)

Hotel Gotham
Augill Castle
Berwick Lodge (Read about my stay here)
Kakslauttanen Hotel
Porto Heli
Giraffe Manor
Isle of Eriska Hotel & Spa
Cameron House
W Barcelona
Ice Hotel

The ideal situation is to tick off a minimum of one per year at the moment so lets hope I don’t add any more eh! If any of you have stayed at any of the above feel free to tell me all about it , I love to hear about other people’s experiences 🙂

As you can probably see I have slight thing for LOVELY accommodation but who doesn’t long for a luxury night or two away. Don’t get me wrong I’m quite happy to stay in basic accommodation when traveling and exploring but for a special occasion or a nice treat I personally prefer something with a more boutique feel.

Sorry yes in Udaipur my memory is slipping. I stayed there in the early eighties after staying in very cheap accommodation for our Indian trip it was our little bit of luxury before heading back to Australia. Check the water level of the lake if you are the vicinity. I think there is also similar accomodation but not in a lake in Jasialmer in Rajasthan. You might end up there for your honeymoon!
